Portals in short
A page of your own behind a link and its QR code.
A portal is a page that a link opens instead of redirecting: your logo, a photo, a text, buttons to call or to get directions, opening hours, a menu, a Wi-Fi password… It lives at /p/<code> and has its own QR code. The short link keeps redirecting as before.
# When to use one
- A restaurant table, a shop window, a business card, a welcome sheet for guests.
- An event: programme, map, questions, a countdown.
- Any place where one QR code should offer several actions.
# Create a portal
- Open a link, then press Create a portal page (or create the portal together with the link).
- Start from a ready-made layout, or from a blank page: Layouts and templates.
- Build the page in the designer and press Save the portal.
# Colour
A portal has one accent colour (blue, green, orange, red, purple or dark) used for buttons, badges and highlights.
# Share
Use the portal's address or its QR code. Protect it with a password like any link: Link options.
# Limits
A page holds up to 60 components nested 4 levels deep, and up to 4 fixed pictures. Your plan sets how many buttons you may use and how many reusable templates you may keep: see Plans.
