Statistics

What is counted, how far back, and what is never collected.

Open a link to see its statistics: total clicks, clicks per day, countries, devices and where visitors came from.

# What is counted

  • Each visit to the short link counts as one click.
  • Countries come from the visitor's connection, devices from their browser, sources from the page they came from.
  • Link-preview robots are left out of the click limit.

# QR scans

The QR code of a link contains a marker, so a visit that comes from scanning it is counted under the source qr, apart from clicks on the short link. QR codes printed before this change keep working, their scans just show as direct.

# Portal buttons

When a link has a portal, the statistics also list each button of the page with the number of times it was pressed in the period. A press is counted without cookie and without any identity, like a click.

# How far back

Your plan decides how many days of history you can read: see Plans.

# Privacy

Statistics keep no IP address and set no tracking cookie. See the privacy page.

# Printable report

Under the statistics of a link, Print / PDF report opens your browser's print window with a clean page: the short address, the QR code, the period, the clicks per day, the countries, devices and sources. Choose Save as PDF as the printer to keep or send it.

# Export

The list of all your links, with their click counts, can be exported as a file: CSV export.
